GETTING THERE

Main Entrance is located at 65 N. Harvard St., Allston, MA and we highly recommend taking the T (Red Line) to the Harvard Square station. From there it’s an easy 10 minute walk to the main entrance. Find your best MBTA route HERE.

Please note that there is no street parking in the surrounding communities, and city officials will be very strict with ticketing and towing. For the easiest travel experience to/from the festival, please leave your vehicle at home and take the T, take UBER or a taxi, or ride your bicycle. The festival will have bicycle parking on site. We will be updating this leading up to the festival, check this page and social media frequently if you have questions.

What happens if it rains?

Boston Calling is a rain or shine event.

What is Boston Calling Music Festival?

Boston Calling Music Festival is a three-day, multi-stage festival featuring the biggest and best acts in live music, film, and visual arts. It is held at Harvard’s Athletic Complex in Allston, MA on May 26, 27, & 28, 2017. The event will provide easy access to all performance areas, incredible concessions, indoor theatre and many surprises to be announced. All ages are welcome and children under 10 are free.

When and where is it held?

When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday May 26, 27 & 28

Will I get a ticket mailed or emailed to me?

No tickets will be issued for this event. All attendees will receive RFID wristbands mailed to the address provided on your Eventbrite order or picked up onsite at our Box office. Please see Box Office hours above.

If I am picking up my wristband onsite what will I need to show at the Box Office?

Please bring a photo ID (license, passport) for pickup at the Box Office.

I purchased a 3-day pass. Will I receive 3 wristbands?

No, multi-day passes are shipped as ONE wristband and are only valid for one attendee.

What can I purchase with my RFID wristband?

If you choose to link a credit or debit card with your wristband before the event, you will be able to purchase beer, wine, water, soda and merchandise just by tapping the wristband at the payment point. There will be some food options to purchase with your wristband, and we recommend having cash or a card with you to fully enjoy all the food the festival has to offer.

I need to update my mailing address for my RFID wristband shipment.

Click here for instructions. You will be able to update your shipping address until 4/15/17.

I lost / damaged my RFID wristband. How can I get a new one?

Our onsite box office will be able to issue you a new one day of show. There’s a $20 replacement fee and we require a photo ID so we can verify that you are the original purchaser.

Is the Festival accessible to people with disabilities?

The entire site is ADA accessible. ADA restrooms are also available. ASL interpreters are only available upon request. Feel free to reach out to our ADA services team with any questions: ADA@bostoncalling.com

What are the differences between General Admission (GA), VIP and Platinum passes?

What should I bring to the Festival?

A small clear plastic bag (no backpacks are allowed inside the festival)

Cigarettes, Cigars, Lighters or Tabaco of any kind – Boston Calling is a No Smoking Festival. Due to the composition of some of the fields, cigarettes will not be permitted on site and will be confiscated.
Large bags/backpacks (bags can be no larger than 12” x 12”)
Weapons of any kind
Professional cameras & recording devices (no SLR/DSLR or cameras with detachable lenses)
Illegal substances
Squirt guns, misters, spray bottles, etc
Laser pens and similar focused-light devices

Cans, canteens, flasks (empty water bottles will be allowed)

Any tips on preparation for a day at Boston Calling Music Festival?

We suggest preparing for the event as follows:

Dress in cool, lightweight clothing
Sunglasses
Lather up in sunscreen, the shade is limited to smaller parts of the festival grounds
Bring a hat
Wear comfy shoes
Stay hydrated! Drink water before you get to the event and enjoy the beverage offerings of the many vendors at the festival.

Are there ATMs available if I run low on cash?

Many ATMs will be located around the festival grounds.

What will be available in the food/beer areas?

We are excited to feature a tremendous variety of food choices this year including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options from over thirty food vendors, with a full food lineup announce coming soon. Samuel Adams, Miller Lite, Angry Orchard, and Henry’s Hard Soda will be featured in all beer vending areas as well as in the VIP section. There will be a specially curated craft beer garden serving all kinds of local and rare beer offerings. Beer and wine will be available to those who are 21+. Please make sure to bring proper ID and grab a wristband from one of the ID Check tents by the main entrance.

Will you have merchandise for sale?

Festival t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, limited edition festival posters, hats, and many other items will be sold at the main merchandise stand. Artist merchandise will also be available there. Limited event merchandise is available before the festival so check by clicking the Shop link above.

How can I apply for a food booth?

If you are interested in being considered, please email us with your company/business name, full contact and company information, and detailed information on the food items and dishes you would like to sell.
