Melissa Villaseñor is a stand-up comedian, impressionist, and cast member on Saturday Night Live, though her music isn’t comedic. When comedy can’t release a particular emotion she channels it into a song during her free time. She makes sure to always share her vulnerability, honesty, and a giggle here-and-there in music. “Light On” is her first full-length album. Melissa is inspired by bands like Pvris, No Doubt, Sia, Amanda Palmer, and Regina Spektor. She hopes to go on a nationwide tour with her band the moment her music friggin’ blows up.
